Tofistock label head Olsvangèr, who has released on important modern tech house labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult, Craigie Knowes, and R.A.N.D. MUSIK, makes his first appearance in Osaka. His style, which blends a wide range of essences characteristic of recent trends with lively yet skillful programming, is evident not only in his music but also in his DJ sets, as seen on Sound Metaphors TV. Also featured is MEW, a resident member of the Nicaraguan party collective Treehouse, who delivered an energetic percussive house set on Tatie Dee's Rinse FM program. They will be joined by Paperkraft, who has been making remarkable worldwide strides, including releasing the Play Somethin’ Nasty EP last December on Sally C's label Big Saldo's Chunkers, and is building a unique position in Japan. Also performing is Ikuzo, who hones his skills at Pound, which he co-hosts with Yudai Sugiyama, and is steadily growing in the local scene. This night, with its potential for dynamic shifts, will surely confirm that this summer will be another wonderful season.
