For those who like their dancefloors unpredictable and their kick drums relentless, VÏVÏ has been carving out a space where melody meets force. Based in Japan, she moves fluidly between melodic hard trance and punishing hard techno, often weaving in rock textures and live percussion to keep the energy raw and restless. It’s sound for people who don’t fit the mold—loud, unapologetic, and built for movement. She’s the founder of Medusa, a Hard Trance and Techno party in Tokyo, and an active member of Queert0pia, a collective amplifying queer voices in the city’s nightlife. You’ll find her behind the decks not just in Tokyo, but across Japan and throughout Southeast Asia, bringing that same high-octane blend to clubs and underground spaces. Since 2026, she’s also been a resident at Tokyo Beer Lab, hosting a live recorded show straight from a brewery in Harajuku. Whether she’s spinning a late-night set in a cramped basement or broadcasting from a taproom, VÏVÏ’s music stays rooted in the tension between euphoric melodies and industrial weight. It’s hard, loud, and never quite where you expect it to be.
