Saturday, August 1, 2026 Vinyl Encounters invites Berlin-based DJ and producer Robin Ordell for his Japan debut. Known for his refined approach to minimal house, Robin crafts sets that balance subtlety with bold, groove-driven energy. Beyond the booth, he has built a respected discography through releases on acclaimed labels including Eklo, Discobar, Finest Hour, Hello? Repeat and his own imprint, No Time County. Alongside his residency at London's renowned underground party Half Baked, he's earned recognition both as a DJ and producer. Joining him are four selectors from Japan's underground scene. yama', a dedicated digger with appearances including South Korea's The Air House; Leona, founder of the party Pollie at Dazzbar in Shizuoka, known for his immersive and expressive musical selections; Connor, founder of the Mitsuki resident party Ready or Not, whose sound is rooted in minimal yet powerful grooves; and Kazuki, founder of Vinyl Encounters, who has shared his vinyl-focused selections across Japan and abroad.
