WEEKEND BLACKBOX SESSION - VINYL SET EDITION - returns to W Osaka’s LIVING ROOM for a special weekend night dedicated to warm grooves, soulful selections, and the timeless energy of vinyl. YUUKI YOSHIYAMA, W Osaka’s Music & Entertainment Director, brings home a sound refined on some of the world’s most iconic stages. With releases on labels such as Toolroom Records and performances at EDC, Tomorrowland Belgium, Bootshaus Germany, and Amsterdam Dance Event, his global trajectory continues to expand. Earlier this March, he also appeared at Tomorrowland Winter 2026 in France as the only Japanese artist on the lineup, and this July he is set to return once again to Tomorrowland Belgium, further cementing his presence on the world stage. His sound moves between precision and emotion, forming a core axis of the night. DMITRI ABSINTHE, originally from Russia and now based in Osaka, brings a deeply cultivated musical perspective shaped by years in Tel Aviv’s underground scene. His sets move fluidly across deep and soulful house, disco, and hypnotic techno — balancing warmth with intensity, and guiding the floor with an intuitive, narrative-driven flow. MAX PELA, born in the Dominican Republic and now based in Japan, channels a globally rooted deep and afro house sound. With a career spanning over two decades, he has built his presence across Latin America, the US, and Asia, while developing his own platform, “House of Pela.” His sets fuse organic rhythm with modern dancefloor energy, connecting heritage with forward momentum. Joining the session is Nanako Yamane, who began DJing in 2018 and has performed at venues including Sound Bar Mizu no Oto, Club Joule, and W Osaka. Since 2023, she has shifted toward a vinyl-based style, building a focused groove through soulful vocal house and house music inspired by the essence of Chicago and Detroit. Active across DJ bars, lounges, and clubs in Tokyo, she also launched her own event, NYLON, at Shibuya Oiran in spring 2026. Together, the lineup creates a warm and immersive vinyl experience inside W Osaka’s LIVING ROOM — a weekend session where classic grooves, global sensibility, and intimate dancefloor energy meet!
