Known for immersive, genre-blending journeys, Chhabb’s sound is psychedelic, spacious, and deeply rhythmic, balancing deep grooves with textured sound design and emotional depth. He is more interested in telling a story than following rules, and can move easily from intimate listening spaces to peak-time dancefloors. With a career shaped by years of digging, experimentation, and dancefloor experience, Chhabb has built a distinct voice rooted in exploration, curiosity, and connection. As a producer, he brings the same approach to his work, blurring the line between functional and experimental while staying grounded in a deep love for sound and atmosphere. ムンバイの喧騒とゴアの穏やかなビーチ、その対照的な環境のあいだで育ったChhabbは、幼少期から常に音楽と文化に囲まれてきた。子どもの頃には歌唱を学ぶ一方で、パンクやゴスのシーンにも惹かれ、やがてサイケデリックやエレクトロニック・ミュージックへと傾倒していく。 北米で過ごした時間は彼に新たな扉を開き、とりわけハウスやテクノとの出会いは深く心に響くものとなった。20歳でインドに戻ると、自身にとって誠実だと感じられる音楽を軸に週末のパーティーを主催し始める。そのサウンドはすぐに注目を集め、Bonoboでのレジデンシーを獲得するとともに、Phool、Jellyfish、Technostewといった自身のレジデンシーも立ち上げ、それぞれが彼の審美眼とヴィジョンを体現する場となっている。 これまでにChhabbは、Magnetic Fields、FarOutLeft、Vh1 Supersonic、Maushi Dayといったインド各地のフェスティバルやクラブでプレイを重ねてきた。Antariksh Records、FOL Records、Krunk Kultureといったレーベルからリリースされている彼の楽曲は実験性に富み、しばしばジャンルの境界を曖昧にする。また、Jeff Mills、DVS1、Volvox、Wata Igarashi、Anthony Rotherなど、アンダーグラウンド・ミュージックを代表するアーティストたちとも共演を果たしている。 Chhabbの根底にあるのは、音への純粋な愛とダンスフロアへの深い敬意である。彼の関心は常に、意味のある体験を生み出すこと、そしてインドのアンダーグラウンド・ミュージック・シーンの未来を、ゆっくりと、着実に、そして意志をもって形づくっていくことに向けられている。
