Drawing on relationships with producers across Africa, South America, India, the Caribbean, and beyond, Skinny Brown curates a unique blend of exclusive tracks, remixes, and custom productions that fuse reggae, dancehall, global bass, and underground club music. Known for marathon DJ sets and a deep crate of cultural sounds, POPASUDA moves effortlessly between Makossa, Baile Funk, GQOM, Kuduro, Soca, Bhangra, Kwaito, and bass-heavy club music, delivered with energy, precision, and a dancefloor-first approach. Over the years, POPASUDA has shared stages with artists including Mighty Crown, U Brown, Vibronics, Warrior King, Black Chiney, DJ Kampire, Daniel Haaksman, Zion Train, DJ Vadim, DJ Lag, and many others, earning lasting respect as one of the pioneering forces in the global bass and reggae underground. She organized snowboarding and DJ parties in Yuzawa, Niigata.She played several clubs and open air parties in Thailand,Vietnam,Korea,US,Tokyo and snow resorts. She belongs to the band HyperR!fflection and playing the flute. Her style is experimental with a mix of different genres. mindflower 左右の耳を結ぶ線をx軸、時間をz軸と見立て、音の位置や増減、滲みや反射などの微細な変化を探る音楽と、その可視化を試みる映像制作を行う。 2024年には、オーストラリアの電子音響レーベル Burnt Seed より、反復の中に潜む微細な揺らぎ、漂流物のランダム性と周期性、音によって空間を捉える視点をテーマとした1st EP「flotsam」をリリースした。 Taking the line connecting the left and right ears as the x-axis and time as the z-axis, the project explores music that investigates subtle changes in the positioning, intensity, blurring, and reflection of sound, alongside video works that attempt to visualize these phenomena. In 2024, the first EP flotsam was released on the Australian electroacoustic label Burnt Seed, focusing on the minute fluctuations hidden within repetition, the randomness and periodicity of drifting objects, and a perspective that perceives space through sound.
