Held every second Thursday, ANDREW LOUNGE has continued as an intimate music gathering unique to DUUSRAA, where guests can enjoy DJ sets that reflect andrew’s roots and current mood in a relaxed bar-time atmosphere. For its 99th edition, the event welcomes FLATPLAY and akii as guest DJs. FLATPLAY is a Tokyo-based techno/dub project. Drawing from dub, techno, and bass music, FLATPLAY has developed a distinctive approach through live performances, DJ sets, and track production, translating these elements into minimal and spacious soundscapes. His 2018 release First Extended Play also featured a remix by andrew, marking a long-standing musical connection between andrew and FLATPLAY. In 2026, FLATPLAY further explored the post-dub techno context with the release of the four-track 12-inch Mystery Of The Belly Button EP on Polish dub/bass label MOONSHINE RECORDINGS. Built around smoky delay processing, pulsing sub-bass, and detailed sound design, the record connects the sensibilities of dub techno and minimal dub to today’s dancefloors. The other guest, akii, is a Tokyo-based DJ. Alongside FLATPLAY and others, she has been involved in the DUB party/collective Jutei (重低), moving across club, open-air, and sound system contexts with Roots Dub at its core. She is also part of the DJ crew NEKO MAFIA, and continues to be active across diverse party scenes while centering her sound around DUB and bass music. In June 2026, akii’s mix for Room303 Radio was selected as Resident Advisor’s “Mix Of The Day.” Described as a dubwise one-hour journey centered on basslines, digging from heavy steppers to modern dub techno, the mix introduced her sharp selection style to listeners both in Japan and abroad. This edition of ANDREW LOUNGE will bring the low-end weight, spatial depth, and sound system sensibility of DUB into the relaxed atmosphere that defines the party. TREKKIE TRAXのandrewが2014年から新宿ドゥースラーで開催している月例ラウンジ・パーティ「ANDREW LOUNGE」が、7月9日（木）にVol.99を開催する。 毎月第二木曜日に行われる同イベントは、バータイムのリラックスした空間の中で、andrew自身のルーツやその時々のムードを反映したDJセットを楽しめる、ドゥースラーならではのアットホームな音楽の場として続いてきた。 99回目となる今回は、ゲストにFLATPLAYとakiiが登場する。 FLATPLAYは、東京を拠点に活動するテクノ／ダブ・プロジェクト。ダブ、テクノ、ベースミュージックの要素をミニマルかつ空間的なサウンドへと落とし込み、ライブ／DJ／トラックメイクを通じて独自の表現を展開してきた。2018年にリリースされた『First Extended Play』には、andrewによるリミックスも収録されており、andrewとFLATPLAYは以前から音楽的な接点を持っている。 2026年にはダブテクノ以降の文脈をさらに掘り下げた4曲入り12インチ『Mystery Of The Belly Button EP』を、ポーランドのダブ／ベース・レーベル〈MOONSHINE RECORDINGS〉よりリリース。スモーキーなディレイ処理、脈打つサブベース、緻密なサウンドデザインを軸に、ダブテクノやミニマル・ダブの感覚を現在のフロアへと接続した作品となっている。 もう一人のゲストであるakiiは、東京を拠点に活動するDJ。FLATPLAYらと共にDUBパーティー／コレクティブ「重低」を展開し、Roots Dubを軸にしながら、クラブ、オープンエアー、サウンドシステムの文脈を横断する活動を行ってきた。また、DJクルーNEKO MAFIAにも参加し、DUB／ベースミュージックを軸にしながら、多様なパーティーシーンで活動している。 2026年6月にはakiiのRoom303 RadioでのミックスがResident Advisorの「Mix Of The Day」に選出。ヘヴィなステッパーズからモダン・ダブテクノまでを掘り下げた、ベースラインを軸にしたダブワイズな1時間として紹介され、国内外のリスナーへその選曲眼を示す機会となった。 ANDREW LOUNGEらしいリラックスした空気の中に、DUBの低音、空間性、サウンドシステム的な重心が自然に持ち込まれる一夜となる。 音楽、お酒、フードと共に、ゆったりとお楽しみください。
