本公演は「Oyubi OPEN TO LAST」と題し、Oyubiがオープンからラストまで単独でDJを務めるワンマン形式のイベントとして行われる。アルバムのリリースを記念した特別な一夜であり、Oyubiの現在地と音楽的背景を、長時間のセットを通じて体感できる貴重な機会となる。 Oyubiは、ゲットーテック、ジューク／フットワークを軸に、ジャズ、EDM、ダブステップ、ドラムンベース／ジャングルなど多様な音楽的背景を横断しながら独自のサウンドを築いてきたアーティスト。国内外のレーベルから作品を発表し、Ben UFO、Objekt、Kush Jonesといった海外アーティストからのサポートを獲得している。2025年にはDekmantel主催のフェスティバル「Lente Kabinet」への出演を皮切りに、ベルリン、ロンドン、リールを巡るヨーロッパツアーを敢行。その後も香港、深セン、台湾、ベトナムなどアジア各地での出演を重ねるなど、国際的なフィールドでも活動を広げている。 『White birch burns』は、Oyubiにとって初のフルアルバムであり、クラブでの機能性と個人的な記憶に基づく内省性を同時に成立させた作品である。長野県・駒出池キャンプ場周辺に残る、盆の送り火に白樺を用いる風習に由来するタイトルのもと、幼少期の記憶や土地に紐づく感覚、5歳の頃に亡くなった父親への想いを、音響や構造を通じて描き出している。 今回のリリースパーティーでは、アルバムに込められたテーマや音楽的文脈を、Oyubi自身のDJセットによって拡張。作品としての『White birch burns』だけでなく、その背景にあるルーツ、クラブミュージックへの視点、そして現在進行形のOyubiのモードを、一晩を通して立体的に提示する内容となる。 ◆イベント情報 Oyubi OPEN TO LAST -White birch burns Release Special- 日程：2026年7月11日（土） 会場：LIVE HAUS SHIMOKITAZAWA OPEN：23:30 出演：Oyubi 価格 : 2500円 (1ドリンク別 / エントランスでCD提示（ブックレットのみも可能）で500円オフ） - Tokyo-based DJ/producer Oyubi will hold the release party for his first album, White birch burns, out via TREKKIE TRAX on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at LIVE HAUS Shimokitazawa on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Titled Oyubi OPEN TO LAST, the event will take the form of a solo, open-to-close DJ set, with Oyubi performing from the beginning to the end of the night. Marking the release of the album, the event offers a rare opportunity to experience Oyubi’s current artistic vision and musical background through an extended DJ set. Oyubi is an artist who has developed a distinctive sound rooted in ghetto tech, juke, and footwork, while drawing from a wide range of musical backgrounds including jazz, EDM, dubstep, drum & bass, and jungle. He has released music on labels in Japan and overseas, and has received support from international artists such as Ben UFO, Objekt, and Kush Jones. In 2025, he performed at Lente Kabinet, the festival organized by Dekmantel, before embarking on a European tour across Berlin, London, and Lille. He has since continued to expand his international presence with performances in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Taiwan, Vietnam, and beyond. White birch burns is Oyubi’s first full-length album, a work that balances club functionality with introspection rooted in personal memory. Its title refers to the local custom around Komade-ike Campground in Nagano Prefecture, where white birch is used for the Bon Festival’s okuribi farewell fire. Through sound and structure, the album explores childhood memories, a sense of place, and Oyubi’s feelings toward his father, who passed away when he was five years old. At this release party, the themes and musical context of White birch burns will be expanded through Oyubi’s own DJ set. Beyond presenting the album itself, the night will offer a multidimensional view of Oyubi’s roots, his perspective on club music, and his current mode as an artist.
