Tokyo Cabal: Eulalie, aixx, Basskick, Benebe, Raina

The Cabal comes to Japan for the first time, honing in on Tokyo this summer for a warm blend of house, electro, breaks, acid and techno. We welcome four talented guests to take the reins alongside Cabal resident, Benebe (UK): Eulalie (JP), aixx (JP), Basskick (JP) and Raina (TW). Eulalie is an electronic musician from Kyoto. During her live sets, she performs vocals, plays instruments, mixes, and makes tracks herself, creating electro music that blends softness with an introspective world. Basskick is a Tokyo-based DJ focused on deep jazz, raw soul, leftfield grooves, and underground dance music. His sets connect dusty records, heavy rhythms, and strange textures, creating a sound that is warm, physical, and slightly off-center. With roots in classical violin, Raina brings a refined sense of musicality and storytelling to the dance floor. Time spent in Liverpool, Berlin and Taiwan has helped shape a sound that balances depth, groove, and curiosity. Moving effortlessly between deep and playful selections, she transforms each set into a journey. aixx was raised in a musical family focused on classical and jazz. Having navigated various locations including Kobe/Osaka, France, Monaco, Paris, and Tokyo, she's always looking for deep sound and continuously developing her creativity wherever she is. Benebe is a vinyl DJ spanning a multitude of genres. For this edition of Cabal, expect a danceable selection of house, electro and techno, often with a wonky edge, comprising of records he will be picking up on his travels.
